Develop pointing, steadiness, recall, and an introduction to retrieving. Our upland program typically begins with two months of training, with additional work available based on your dog's progress and your goals.

A good working dog needs a strong foundation and a handler who knows how to build on it. Wil-Nor offers training for upland dogs, waterfowl retrievers, and everyday obedience. We will discuss your dog's experience and your goals to help choose the right program.
Waterfowl retriever training
Build from obedience and retrieving fundamentals to marked retrieves and blind retrieves on land and water. Programs typically run three to four months, depending on the dog. A marked retrieve follows a fall the dog has seen; a blind retrieve uses the handler's directions to find a bird the dog has not seen fall.
Basic obedience
Build useful everyday skills such as sit, heel, down, place, recall, and better manners. Basic obedience is open to all breeds. Contact us to discuss program length and availability.

Bring your dog's food, or ask about our house food option. Current rabies and Bordetella vaccinations are required. Contact our office for current rates, exercise options, health requirements, and drop-off and pickup arrangements.
Dog owners can also ask about training opportunities. Training must be arranged in advance.
